When the holiday season arrives, for many throughout the nation it is a joyous and celebratory time of year, but for those that can barely make ends meet, it can become a sad reminder of hard times. Despite not having a turkey, or being without gifts, the proud underprivileged children of our great nation are thankful for the roof over their heads, and the clothes on their backs.

Americans Helping Americans® brings the spirit of Christmas to West Virginia, Kentucky, South Carolina, and Tennessee in the form of holiday parties, with plenty of food and gifts for all!

Participants play games, eat special Christmas treats, open presents including toys and new shoes, and share their happiness with other families sitting together in fellowship to share a Christmas dinner. One of the children even declared it “the best party I have ever been to!”
