Come celebrate St. Patrick’s Day and mingle with Americans Helping Americans® supporters and staff Tuesday, March 17, 2009 starting at 5 pm at Bus Boys and Poet’s located at 4251 South Campbell Ave, Arlington, VA 22206!
5% of the evening revenues from 5 pm until 12 am will benefit Americans Helping Americans® programs in Appalachia and the Safe Places Residential Program.
YOU COULD WIN THIS QUILT!
There will also be a chance to win a beautiful handmade quilt, donated from Americans Helping Americans sewing circle program participants in Welch, West Virginia. One Raffle ticket accompanies each $5 donation; all raffle participants will receive a free Americans Helping Americans® recycled, reusable tote bag!
Not located in northern Virginia but interested in participating in the raffle for the handmade quilt? All donations greater than $5 received through our website from now until April 30, 2009 will automatically be entered in the raffle! Each donor will be entered into the raffle once at each $5 dollar interval; those donating $10 will be entered in the raffle twice, $15 will be entered in three times, and so on.
